Yes, it’s mostly fine. Some pubs will have a “no under 18s” rule after say 8pm or 9pm at night, sometimes still allowed if eating a meal. There will be no problem. A 17 year old can even legally drink alcohol IF it’s bought by an adult AND it’s to accompany a meal.
